Pernod Ricard World Trade required a system that would allow their agents to enter prices for all their drink products and their competitors. The specification demanded real time entry and analysis of duty free and duty paid prices, in either a local currency, or relative to the current Currency rate of any Country.

The system allows Pernod Ricard to accurately analyse prices across rival products, different continents and different locations. Though the requirement specified that the system must maintain accurate and up-to-date currency rates, it was not necessary to implement an over-complicated solution. Instead of implementing an expensive web feed or service, the system can manually be updated by Administrators at any time. All this helped to keep maintenance costs to a justifiable minimum.
