The 'Times Perspectives' series is a set of educational titles with all material having appeared in the Times newspaper (or associated papers) at some time. New titles would be split into up to 10 main topics, with topics containing up to 10 sections with sub-sections. Each title could contain up to 750 articles and 500 images, all linked by topic, section and time.

So with the principle requirement being inter-linking of subject levels and material, Delve hired Infolio to design and develop a single mechanism to drive both the Cold War and the Industrial Revolution, with the future possibility of additional titles. The design also incorporated enough flexibility to succeed in giving each title a uniqueness all its own.
